We are currently seeking a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to coordinate and execute SEO/PPC tactics and focus on optimizing and improving search engine optimization activities for our corporate website and for our clients' websites. As the Search Engine Optimization Manager, you will help increase natural search engine traffic from key search engines to our site and plan PPC campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing organic keyword strategies, assisting with linking initiatives and SEO reporting. The person who fills this position will have enormous potential for growth as we expect this to be a major element of our future expansion.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Optimize websites for major search engines
• Implement successful search engine marketing campaigns using project management best practices
• Provide input and oversight into the development of vigorous creative copy testing, optimization and report out
• Audit published content for search engine optimization compliance
• Work with design, marketing and other teams on SEO best practices and projects
• Work with SEO vendors to coordinate and communicate project initiatives
• Provide SEO reporting, analytic reporting, data analysis and provide action-items based on findings
• Understand search engine ranking algorithms and ranking factors
• Maintain expertise in search engine optimization
• Conduct competitive research and share findings

Requirements:

• 2+ years SEO experience with knowledge of PPC preferred, OR
• 2+ years work experience in direct marketing, database marketing, interactive marketing or advertising
• 1 or more Certifications in Search Marketing by Google, Yahoo or CMA
• Knowledge of web analytics
• Basic knowledge of HTML and content management systems in order to support the execution of SEO projects
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, including experience reviewing campaign performance results and making recommendations for future action
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation of SEO projects
